As we embark into EDCI 337, I hope to learn how to use different multi-media tools in an effective way to which I can hopefully bring to the business world and my future in a business career. As much of the workforce has converted online, being creative with multimedia will be essential moving forward to engage coworkers and customers. When working this summer at a co-op, I hope to have a new range of tools to which I can hopefully apply to projects and presentations.

I am unsure how to determine what multimedia techniques to use and will be most effective in given certain circumstances, projects and tasks and would like to learn how to decide which to use in different scenarios.

As Tik Tok has become a major social media platform, I have found myself acquiring so much new information and learning about subjects I otherwise may not know. For example, there are short 1-minute videos which explain the basics of stocks and investments for beginners. This has been a positive experience as these are life skills to which are extremely beneficial. They are impactful because they are concise, yet informative and easy to grasp. In addition, they leave me wanting to know more about the subject and looking into it further.

In previous classes I have taken, I have added different colours and music to make presentations more intriguing. Furthermore, having a speaker who is easy to follow and listen to and makes the content interesting has made my previous multimedia impactful and effective.
