Dr. Ray Pastore did not follow the multimedia principle because few of his slides contained text as well as images. His first image did not appear until half way through his presentation which left the reader waiting for a visual type of media. He also did not follow the embodiment principle because his picture in the video did not engage the audience or help the viewers too understand.

I would apply the redundancy principle to make sure I do not say the same thing as written as my slides. When having both the written and verbal aspect of a presentation the listener will find it much easier to follow as well as comprehend. The temporal contiguity principle would also apply because pictures are better understood when given simultaneous with text.

One principle I have followed in the past is the multimedia principle because I believe that text always flows better when relevant when accompanied by images.  One principle I have not followed in the past is the worked examples principle because I often fail to accompany my text with real world examples or situations. Using real world examples allows the real world examples to be taken to the next level.
